My name is John Tust.  I have been in the construction field for more than 20 years. I started in the construction/painting field back in 1989, working with small contractors and a big construction company, where I not only did painting, but drywall and light carpentry duty as well.  

During all the years I had done construction, I always felt something was missing. Luckily I found Michael Glass and Kids' Carpentry, and felt this is where I could make a difference - teaching kids the safe and fun way to work with their hands and create something they could be proud of. So I trained with Michael and watched how he worked with the kids and thought to myself " this is something I would like to do for the rest of my life". I am excited to begin my second year with Kids' Carpentry.
